Two weeks from today we'll be waking up in sunny California and getting ready for a day of community service at Ability First, an organization geared towards working with physically and mentally disabled people. We have a fun and exciting week planned as we'll be working with different organizations and looking at health care from different perspectives like the mentally disabled, spiritual health, health policy, and homelessness.
It's also exciting because of the great group dynamic that we have of people participating in our trip this year. We have a variety of students from different backgrounds and pursuing different degrees and they're all interested in different ends of the health care spectrum. So we're in for quite an experience... be sure to read along!!
